Ruthven "Cardinal at Dusk" print available

(3/18/06) - Internationally acclaimed wildlife artist John A. Ruthven recently unveiled his original watercolor, Cardinal at Dusk, at a fund-raising event held by the Clinton County Historical Society in Wilmington, Ohio.

A native of Cincinnati, Mr. Ruthven's love for nature is revealed in his painting of both the common and endangered species of wildlife. Most recently Mr. Ruthven became the first wildlife artist to receive the National Medal of Arts. Given to Mr.Ruthven by President Bush in the oval office, this medal is the highest award given to artists by the U.S. government.

This limited edition print, 11" x 14" and 15" x 19" overall, was commissioned by the Clinton County Historical Society and is available for $150, plus Ohio Sales tax.
